The lion depicted on the Amulet Sun Lion charm is a symbol of power and might. To its bearer, the Sun Lion brings the strength and courage of a lion. The symbol originates from the time when the influences of Christian Europe spread to Finland through the islands of the Baltic Sea. It originally decorated the lid of a small reliquary, protecting its precious contents. The Sun Lion ring depicting this ancient symbol is bronze and is also available in silver.
