2022 Kalevala Christmas ornament is the Kalevankaroo. The Kalevan bear has always been held in high esteem, being half human and half forest creature. And therefore, whoever wore the bear's mark was the ruler of both man and nature. The Christmas ornament is 76 mm wide and 61 mm high.

Christmas decoration 2021: Suomussalmi horse

Finland Suomussalms - the Finnish horse of the year 2021 Kalevala Christmas decoration is the Suomussalmi horse. Its predecessor, a stylised bronze horse pendant found in Suomussalmi, dates back to the Iron Age. For the ancient Finns, the horse was a bringer of light, a symbol of luck and success. The Christmas ornament is 65 mm wide and 65 mm high.

2020 Kalevala Christmas ornament for 2020 is the Tampere Bird. The Tampere Bird brings a message from a thousand years ago in the prosperous Viking Age. For the ancient Finns, birds were symbols of good fortune and success, and because they were able to soar through the air, up to the heights of the heavens, they were also believed to be messengers between the lower and the higher. The Christmas ornament is 62 mm wide and 66 mm high.
