Silver Kalevala Kalevankarhu Pendant from the 90th Anniversary Collection

The silver Kalevala Kalevankarhu pendant brings back the bear figure designed by Kaisaleena Mäkelä in the 1990s in a redesigned form. Crafted from polished silver, the pendant is slightly smaller and less three-dimensional than its predecessor. The pendant is double-sided, and its front features the stamp commemorating Kalevala Jewelry's 90th anniversary. The pendant can be threaded onto a bracelet or necklace.

Kalevankarhu combines Finnish mythology, nature, and timeless jewelry design. Originally part of the Alkuaika collection, the motif draws inspiration from the mythical animal figures of the northern peoples. The bear’s form embodies the power of the forest and the northern storytelling tradition. This reimagined collection brings a familiar motif to contemporary jewelry and celebrates Kalevala Jewelry's 90-year journey.
