The solitaire rings from the Silván collection are available with different diamond settings, such as a protruding crown setting or a setting that better follows the shape of the ring. It is the diamond planting style that significantly affects the style and appearance of the ring. When choosing a ring, the appearance is an important criterion, but at the same time you should think about the everyday use of the ring. Protruding diamonds are spectacular, but can be challenging in everyday use and can catch on clothes, for example. So you should choose a diamond setting for your ring that best suits your everyday use. In addition to different diamond settings, Silván rings are available in different gold tones. The models in the selection are available in yellow gold, rose gold and white gold, or combinations of these. The gold we use is 14 or 18 carat gold, which is 100 percent recycled.

Silván Rings from Our Workshop in Hyvinkää, Finland

The rings of the Silván collection are made in Laatukoru's own jewelry workshop in Hyvinkää, Finland. A dozen goldsmiths and jewelry professionals work in the workshop, in whose skilled hands the gold and diamond jewelry of our Silván collection is made. All of our diamond jewelry, as well as solitaire rings, are handmade, and each piece of jewelry goes through many careful work steps before it is handed over to the customer as a finished piece of jewelry.

Silván diamond jewelry has a long tradition and its story goes all the way back to 1972, when the founder of Laatukoru, Keijo Silván, started making jewelry in the basement of his home. Today, already in its third generation, the family business includes, in addition to the online store, a network of 13 stores and its own Silván diamond jewelry collection.

At the jewelry workshop in Hyvinkää, our way of working is to make diamond jewelry to order, as unique pieces or in small series. If you wish, you can also make changes to our ready-made Silván ring models and thus get a ring that completely matches your preferences. Responsibly Produced Silván Diamond Rings

Silván diamond rings are always made from the best materials: 14 or 18 karat yellow, white or rose gold and carefully selected diamonds. The gold we use is 100 percent recycled. Recycled gold is always smelted and cleaned carefully, so the gold we use is always good as new gold. By using recycled gold, we reduce the environmental impact of gold production and the need for new gold mining.

We buy the diamonds we use in Silván rings from large European diamond exchanges. All our diamond suppliers are committed to complying with industry standards and responsible operations. Responsibility means observing human rights in the different stages of production, taking environmental impacts into account, maintaining safe and responsible work practices and supporting local communities. The diamond trade also does not support the financing of rebel movements. We always require a written certificate from our suppliers about the origin and ethics of the diamonds. For the customer, the Silván diamond ring comes with a certificate of authenticity, which indicates the quality and authenticity of the diamonds.
