Silver Kalevala Kalevankarhu Hoop Earrings From the 90th Anniversary Collection

Small bears hang from the silver Kalevala Kalevankarhu ring earrings, moving gracefully with the wearer. In this updated version, Kaisaleena Mäkelä's Kalevankarhu, originally designed in the 1990s, has been brought back as a slightly smaller and flatter design. The earrings are part of Kalevala Koru's 90th anniversary collection, and they bear an anniversary stamp from autumn 2026 until the end of 2027. The bear charms can be removed and replaced with other Kalevala charms if desired.

The Kalevankarhu combines Finnish mythology, nature, and timeless jewelry design. Originally part of the Alkuaika collection, the motif draws inspiration from the mythical animal figures of northern peoples. The bear's form embodies the power of the forest and the northern storytelling tradition. The redesigned series brings this familiar motif to contemporary jewelry and celebrates Kalevala's 90-year journey.
