Bronze Kalevala Kalevankarhu Pendant From the 90th Anniversary Collection

The bronze Kalevala Kalevankarhu pendant features a small bear figure designed by Kaisaleena Mäkelä in the 1990s. This beloved classic returns in a refreshed form to celebrate Kalevala Koru's 90th journey. The beautiful piece of jewelry is crafted from warm-toned bronze and is great for everyday wear and for gifting. The pendant comes with an adjustable chain (38, 41, or 45 cm). The jewelry bears the Kalevala Koru 90th anniversary stamp from autumn '26 to the end of '27.

Kalevankarhu combines Finnish mythology, nature, and timeless jewelry design. Originally part of the Alkuaika (Primordial Time) collection, the motif draws inspiration from the mythical animal figures of northern peoples. The bear embodies the power of the forest and the northern narrative tradition. The reissued series brings this familiar theme to contemporary jewelry and celebrates Kalevala's 90-year journey.
