Silver Kalevala Styks Ring

The Kalevala Styks ring is designed by the most internationally known Finnish jewelry artist and sculptor Björn Weckström. The sculptural jewelry designed by Weckström in the 1960s were radical in their time and attracted attention worldwide.

Kalevala's Styks ring, as well as many other pieces of jewelry designed by Weckström, have been inspired by the cold beauty of the Nordic winter. In the jewelry, you can see sculptural shapes blown by the wind and the dialogue between pure frosty snow and ice glinting in the winter sun. The Styks ring gets its name from the ancient world. The name refers to the river Styks in Greek mythology, which separated the world of the living from the realm of the dead. The silver Styks ring is available in three sizes: 17 mm, 18 mm and 19 mm.
