The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph HBJ005P1 combines the legendary Speedtimer series' motorsport history with Seiko's 145th-anniversary colour scheme. The watch's purple dial is inspired by traditional Edo purple, reflecting Tokyo's cultural heritage and the ideals of the Edo period. The steel case and bracelet form a sturdy base for the watch, complemented by stylish gold-toned details. The two-tone aluminum bezel with a tachymeter, in turn, refers to one of the most esteemed vintage models of the Speedtimer series, bringing a racing spirit to the model.

The HBJ005P1 is powered by a V192 caliber Solar movement, with a power reserve of up to six months on a full charge. In addition to the chronograph, a 24-hour display, date display, and power reserve indicator are available. The curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating makes reading the time easier, and the luminescence improves the visibility of the hands and indices in low light. 100-meter water resistance supports carefree use even in an active everyday life.
