Silver Tapio Wirkkala Trumpets candlestick, 100 mm

Tapio Wirkkala's Trumpet Candlestick completes the table setting and, thanks to its timeless design, will last from one day to the next. The candlestick is made of silver and measures 100 mm in height. Trumpets are available in different heights and can be combined to create different groups of candles.

Tapio Wirkkala, a designer and sculptor known for his modern formal language, was particularly fond of large surfaces, heavy objects and simple, clean shapes. On the surfaces of objects, Wirkkala used gloss and dimming to create spectacular effects. These characteristics of Wirkkala's design are well reflected in the precious metal objects he designed for the Gold Centre.
