Yellow Gold Kalevala Kalevankarhu Pendant From the 90th Anniversary Collection

The yellow gold Kalevala Kalevankarhu pendant brings Kaisaleena Mäkelä's bear figure, designed in the 1990s, back in a renewed form! The beautiful bear-themed pendant is made of 14-karat yellow gold, and it is smaller and less three-dimensional in shape than before. Thanks to its small size, the Kalevala Bear pendant can be threaded onto, for example, a bracelet, necklace, or earring. The reverse side of the double-sided pendant also features the Kalevala Jewelry 90th anniversary year stamp.

Kalevankarhu combines Finnish mythology, nature, and timeless jewelry design. The motif, originally part of the Alkuaika collection, draws inspiration from the mythical animal figures of northern peoples. The bear figure embodies the power of the forest and the northern storytelling tradition. The redesigned series brings this familiar motif to modern jewelry and celebrates Kalevala Jewelry's 90-year journey.
