Darina's Bracelet became Lapponia's most renowned jewelry pieces internationally in 1977 after featuring in the movie Star Wars by George Lucas. The jewelry pieces were worn by Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) in the last scene of the movie as she is awarding medals to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford).
