This is how the modern innovations of jewelry manufacturing meet the centuries-old traditions of Finnish goldsmithing.

Kalevala Amulet jewelry uses recycled silver and bronze. The share of recycled silver in silver jewelry is 95 percent, and part of the material in bronze jewelry is also recycled. In addition, all precious metal waste generated in jewelry manufacturing is collected, even down to the metal dust generated during the grinding phase, and cleaned for reuse.

The Kalevala factory in Konala is run by wind and solar power, and the process water generated during jewelry manufacturing is cleaned before being discharged into the municipal sewer network. Part of the purified water is also recycled back into the production processes.
